PMG is a project that has come a long way over the past 7 years and means a lot not only to myself but to those who have attend its events and read its articles. Over the years I have tried many different approaches to getting PMG up and running with some success. PMG doesn’t fit a model because it is a model. A model that continues to do a service no one else is capable of and can reach the thousands upon thousands of service men and women who love to play and compete in video games. Please help share this message with your friends and thank you in advance for your donations!
With your donation PMG plans to completely overhaul the Pro Military Gaming website. A professional web developer will be hired to take PMG from being a blog to a professional video game website that satisfies the needs of military gamers. Up to date news, previews, and reviews will be added with video. Along with interesting articles concerning the military and gaming industry.
An intergrated forum and tournament ladders will also be added with a universal login.
An editor and staff writers can finally be hired to produce content and deliver news on a daily basis. Word of mouth is an invaluable tool for getting the word out about PMG. However, the ability to purchase ad space in publications like the Military Times which is read by millions would give us an opportunity to reach so many more!
Also, gaming equipment and accessories will also be purchased for upcoming tournaments. HD TV’s, PC’s, Xbox 360′s, PS3′s, headsets, and games will need to be purchased for upcoming tournaments this fall and beyond!
Lastly, prizes for our military members, spouses and dependents will be purchased. We have had success asking local business and publishers for prizes in the past but it is my dream to one day have PMG supply its own prizes.
**At least 10% of the grand total PMG raises here on Fundly will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project.**

27 Hours and Counting: Why I don’t feel bad for putting so much time in virtual worlds After completing my undergrad I have accumulated what I believe to be an incredible 27 hours on just one game over the past month. A stray thought crossed my mind while looking at the news today. If Final Fantasy VII (FFVII) were to be re-released today would the misinformed media jump on its opening theme of terrorism? I feel that this question is valid because of sensational articles involving Grand Theft Auto IV’s violence and Mass Effect 2 sexual […] ↓ Read the rest of this entry…
Dead on Arrival: Dead Island I didn’t think it would end this way; white sand, blue water, zombies, and complete disappointment. Dead Island’s premise had so much potential with its beautiful backdrop and First Person RPG elements. Techland’s execution of said potential leaves zombie fans in a real predicament. The premise was different this time […] ↓ Read the rest of this entry…
Nintendo did what no one thought Nintendo would be able to do. Nintendo recovered from a pretty dismal console launch and mass market failure of a console known as the Gamecube. No small accomplishments in a dog eat dog market that swallowed contenders such as my personal favorite, Sega, whole for similar missteps. The unfortunate […] ↓ Read the rest of this entry…
